Things you didn't know about Dennis Haskins: 1) He was not always Mr. Belding 2) He knows Nick Lachey. This past Tuesay, Daze got the chance of a lifetime — an interview with a figment of our youth. We obviously took our job seriously (as always) and prepared meticulously. Some thrown out questions: Do you maintain a close relationship with Screech after working with him on Saved By the Bell and Saved By the Bell: The New Class? Are Dennis Haskins and Richard Belding one? Haskins obliged all of our wonderings and was just like one might imagine — except with a sense of humor. Not only did he reference the episode when Jessie takes speed (and famously yells “I’m so excited … I’m so scared!”) but he was happy to do so — as long as we called him Belding. Haskins, who played the beloved Principal Richard Belding on the NBC series Saved by the Bell from 1989-1993 was at Cornell for a lecture called “Back to School with Mr. Belding,” and was brought to Cornell by the Cornell University Program Board.
Haskins is originally from Chattanooga and began his career as the Entertainment Chairman of his alma mater the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. He only began taking acting classes after a basketball coach suggested they were “easy.” Eventually he began touring with musician Greg Allman in the late ’70s, which led him to his first acting job. He was, however, far from his carefully neat, principal self in terms of appearance. “I had long hair and a beard and my manager calls me up and says, you’d be perfect for this part on a new show,” said Haskins. After reading for the part, Haskins was hired for the show’s first episode. The show was The Dukes of Hazzard. “The script only referred to my character as ‘bad-ass’ and it was later changed to ‘Moss.’ I was the first guy that grabbed Daisy at the Hog’s Nest.”
So, what does he think of the film? Haskins prefers not to compare the old television show with the new movie version of the show, but said, “I haven’t seen the new Dukes of Hazzard, but to me it’s just a movie representation of the television show rather than a remake.” Plus he and Nick go way back. After his debut on network television with his stint on The Dukes of Hazzard, Haskins decided that he wanted to pursue a career in acting, and within the next year, he moved to Hollywood.
But what most students will undoubtedly first notice is how exciting it is for a character they grew up with to come alive onstage. “At every college I go to, I discover that all the students there grew up watching Saved by the Bell,” he said. “At the time, there was no other Saturday morning show to watch for kids your age.”
Haskins made Belding a voice of reason for a group of naughty-yet nice high schoolers while also making him a lovable fool. To hear him tell it is to understand the love that he holds for the show as he reminisces. “I think everyone always liked Mr. Belding because no matter what happened, he never got too silly and always did what was right for the kids.”
Now comes a bit of Saved by the Bell trivia. “It started out as Good Morning, Miss Bliss but the original version didn’t work because it focused on the adults. One thing led to another and they decided to take the characters of Zach, Screech, and Lisa and add in more characters to create Saved by the Bell. This time, the focus was on the kids, he said. “The show was always about things relevant to its audience” because unlike a majority of the shows aimed at adolescants, all the child actors on the show were actually the age they played.
Haskins was in the original Saved by the Bell, the first show of it’s kind in the Saturday morning slot, as well as later, less popular installments. “The original show was what made the success. The kids in ‘the new class’ came in wanting to be on Saved by the Bell but when they left, they had made the show their own,” he said. “With the college years, they tried to fit the show in a prime time format and it didn’t work.”
“Its amazing how many people all around the world have watched the show. It’s been aired in 87 countries worldwide.” Haskins remembered how while in South Africa to film a movie with Lou Diamond Philips and Coolio, no less, he was recognized as the principal he had made famous. “It’s unbelievable but that’s how this show has touched people,” he said. “The first show they aired in Romania after Ceausescu was Saved by the Bell because it wasn’t political.”
Haskin’s lecturing career has been no less exciting. On how his college lecturing started: “I was on a joint TNT, TBS, CNN program called Think About It being interviewed by a student from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and he just asked me ‘hey would you be able to come to my school and do this?’”
Haskins recalls his another example of Saved by the Bell’s longevity and endurance, “I was doing a talk at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and afterwards we decided to get dinner at a pizza place. But when we got there, they told us there was no more pizza left. I was wearing a hat so no one really knew who I was. But when people started recognizing me, they actually started offering me slices of their pizza. And when I left, a crowd had literally gathered outside the pizza place and they were chanting, ‘Belding, Belding!’ And the sea of people literally parted when I walked out,” he said. “It really showed me the impact of what it meant to be on the show. The show has left an amazing legacy.”

Later on Zack comes back with a neck brace and tells him he wants a rematch. Slater turns heel and attacks Zack with the brace still on. Next ppv slater vs. zack in an I Quit match.

Zack & Slater are fighting over Kelly as usual...only this time, she rebuffs both of them for DeShawn, the new African-American kid in school..the 6'9" starting power forward caught her eye during basketball practice.. one taste of the BBC, and she's done with Preppy and AC for good..
Meanwhile....Screech, tired of constantly being rejected by Lisa, comes to the conclusion that she only denies him b/c he's white.. He decides to join up with the seldom-seen White Power clique at Bayside, and finds easy recruits in Zack & Slater, given their newfound resentment towards the black man... However the White Power kids suspect that AC Slater may not be of true Aryan descent...and worse yet, they are informed that Screech may be Jewish..
Hilarity ensues as the boys try to escape the Skinhead compound.. (bet they wish they were back at The Max!!)

I made School Records for each episode. That was just notes I made during the episodes. Here's the first season of notes I took.
The episodes are in the order I prefer to watch them in.
1. “The Date Lottery” School Record: -The gang all appear to be in the 10th grade. -Scott Erickson is a transfer student from Valley. -Scott considers Lindsay Warner to be the hottest girl in school. -Lindsay is the President of the Dance Committee. -Lindsay and Tommy De Luca are a couple. -Weasel loves to play computer games. -Lindsay is Weasel’s next door neighbor and they’ve been best friends since pre-school. -Weasel’s a big fan of “Blossom” and has a huge crush on Megan Jones. -Scott made $400 with his lottery scheme. -Mr. Belding had the gymnasium painted over the Summer. -Of the gang, here are the pairings for the Welcome Back dance: Tommy D and Vicki Needleman, Megan Jones and Weasel Wyzell, Lindsay Warner and Scott Erickson. -This episode takes place during the first week of school.
2. “Running the Max” School Record: -Scott carries late passes. -Mr. Tuttle is absent from school in order to be on Oprah, for “Teachers Who Over Eat Week.” Tuttle, is a teacher who has appeared in a few episodes of the original series. -Meat, the jock debuts in this episode. His football jersey has the number “86” on it. -Once Scott gets in charge of the Max, he changes all of the gang’s jobs around. Here’s what they all do: Tommy is the chef, Lindsay and Megan are waitresses, Vicki is the dishwasher and Weasel advertises. -Continuity Error: Coach Buttski threatens Scott that if he doesn’t remove “Eat at the Max” from the football team’s jersey’s, Scott would do push-ups until his grandchildren graduate. Later, when the Coach agrees to have his banquet at the Max, he threatens Scott that if the football team doesn’t have a good time, they’ll use him as a tackling dummy. Later on, when Megan asks Scott if he thinks they can pull off the banquet, Scott imagines himself being forced to do push-ups. But that wasn’t the punishment he was threatened with. -Weasel has to miss the two-hour special “Blossom Goes to Iraq,” in order to help with the football banquet at the Max. -Megan’s a straight “A” student. She has never gotten a “C” in her life, until this episode. -In typical “Saved by the Bell” fashion, the gang all get “A’s”. And Scott officially becomes part of the gang.
3. “The Slumber Party” School Record: -It’s the week of the big Valley/Bayside football game. A part of Scott still roots for Valley. -Tommy doesn’t like football. However, in seasons 2 & 3, he’s the star football player. -Two Valley guys are hanging out at the Max. Scott makes a $100 bet with them that Bayside will beat Valley. Since when do Valley students hang out at the Max? That’s Bayside territory. -Megan loves Vicki like a sister. -The name of Scott’s made up cousin is Tina. Of course it’s really Scott in drag. -This is the debut episode for Crunch Grubowski, a dumb jock with “62” on his jersey. -Crunch owns a classic 1965 Mustang. -Mr. Belding was the second racquet on the Badminton team, which was the half-time entertainment, when he attended Bayside. -Midnight Blue is Lindsay’s favorite color. -Weasel’s mom went to a Madonna look alike contest.
4. “Love Is On the Air” School Record: -Megan Jones is absent from this episode. In her place with the gang, is a girl named Jenny Turner. -Because Weasel works at the school radio station, he’s in study hall with a bunch of beautiful girls. Scott refers to it as “Babe Hall.” -Mr. Belding always goes to Tommy D. whenever he needs anything done to his car. -The Bayside radio station is KVIB. -Mr. Belding’s radio show is titled “Ask your Principal.” It’s not the least bit popular. -Weasel becomes “Dr. Love” with the help of “The Brady Bunch Book.” -Vicki admits that she has a crush on Scott. Although he doesn’t feel the same way about her. However, in order to keep up Dr. Love’s reputation, Scott agrees to go out on a date with her. - Chocolate makes Vicki’s face break out and red licorice gives her hives. -Scott ends up being Mr. Belding’s sidekick in the all new “Ask Your Principal.” As a result, Scott gets moved out of “Babe Hall” and into the earlier study hall.
5. “George Washington Kissed Here” School Record: -At Valley, the Drama Club was mainly for dorks, as Scott put it. -Weasel tells Scott that theater is his life. He also informed Scott that last year the Drama Club did “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves”. He was Dopey and the Princess. -Lindsay is in the Pep Club, Spirit Club and the Glee Club. -Mr. Belding has a 1975 Chevy. He’s had it ten years longer than he’s had Mrs. Belding. -After Mr. Bainbridge quits the play, Mr. Belding becomes the director. -Mr. Belding admits to Scott that he never misses an episode of “Beavis & Butthead.” -The gang are originally cast in these roles: Weasel is Ben Franklin, Megan is Mrs. Franklin, Scott is George Washington, and Vicki is Martha Washington, after Lindsay turned it down in order to play Betsy Ross. Later on, Lindsay and Vicki switch roles. -Last year, Tommy skipped the play in order to go to Snow Cone Night at the Roller Derby. -Weasel’s sign is Sagittarius. -Weasel’s two years in the Cub Scouts were his happiest.
6. “A Kicking Weasel” School Record: -Weasel is the water boy. -It’s the week of the big football game against Westwood. Bayside hasn’t won in ten years. -Lindsay, Megan and Vicki are all JV cheerleaders. -Weasel has the number “3” on his jersey. -Tommy’s the treasurer of the Bayside Print Shop. -When Weasel and Lindsay used to play dodge ball in school, Weasel would always be the last one picked. -Orange is Weasel’s favorite color. -Bayside beat Westwood without scoring a touchdown. Weasel kicked 11 field goals.
7. “Home Shopping” School Record: -Scott tells Lindsay that his job at the school store is the worst job he’s ever had. -It’s Mid-Term time. -James, the actor, once again works at the Max. He was fired from his last movie for saying his lines (as a librarian) too loud. “You books are overdue!” -James appeared twice in the original series. -Continuity Error: Vicki gets a chocolate milkshake and then adds fish oil -for the brain. Yet, in “Love Is On the Air,” Vicki tells Scott that she’s allergic to chocolate. -Vicki loves “lousy tasting health food.” -Chocolate Memory is just chocolate sauce. -Chocolate Memory causes rashes to whoever drinks it. -”This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.” says Scott to Megan.
8. “Belding’s Baby” School Record: -Lindsay likes it when Tommy has butter on his lips. -Mr. Belding has a Principal Discount Card for the cafeteria. -This is the first time Scott has chased after a girl since Lindsay.
9. “Swap Meet” School Record: -Lindsay loves swap meets. -Tommy spent two days at the arcade to win Lindsay a pink gorilla doll. The same one she planned to sell at the swap meet. -Mr. Belding is selling mounted fish, his old pet goldfish, Flipper and Jaws. They died after the fish tank exploded. -Crunch watches “The Price Is Right” three times a day. -”Jungle Passion” is Mrs. Belding’s favorite perfume. -It’s close to Mr. and Mrs. Belding’s anniversary. -Rachel makes her first appearance as Scott’s crush of the week. She returns in the 2nd season as a regular. -Rachel is a big fan of Janet Jackson. -Issue 59 of “Defender Dog” has the famous misprint. Defender Dog has a milk bone for a tail. That makes the comic worth $600. -Crunch is a huge fan of “Defender Dog” and issue 59 was the missing piece in his collection. -Weasel has two tickets to “Sesame Street on Ice.” -Tommy’s favorite meal is bologna burritos.
10. “Homecoming King” School Record: -It’s time for the Homecoming Dance. -Homecoming King nominees are Purvis Beetlebomb and Chad Westerfield. -Homecoming Queen nominees are Chrissy Lovejoy and Lindsay Warner -Lindsay’s mom doesn’t like Tommy and feels Lindsay should date around in high school. -Tommy’s in his first year of French. -Weasel took his imaginary friend, Albert, to the 7th grade dance. -Scott makes his final pass at Lindsay, before his guilt kicks in. After this episode, he no longer chases after her. -Lindsay usually has to drag Tommy to romantic films. There’s nothing she likes better than a good cry. -Mr. Belding voted for Mrs. Warner for Homecoming Queen back when they attended high school. -Belding sat behind Mrs. Warner is Spanish class. He was known as Enrico the Geeko. -Official Homecoming Dance dates: Weasel Wyzell and Megan Jones; Scott Erickson and Claire, the nerd; Vicki Needleman and Meat, the jock; Lindsay Warner and Chad Westerfield. -Vicki’s a vegetarian. -The Homecoming Queen is Megan Jones, as a write-in. She was written in by the nerds, since her date was Weasel, a nerd. -The Homecoming King is Tommy De Luca, another write-in. Although he doesn’t accept the honor, since Lindsay is not the Queen. That makes Chad Westerfield the Homecoming King.
11. “Good-Bye Megan” School Record: -It’s Career Week. -Weasel loves the taste of bubble gum dental floss. -Megan is really interested in the medical field. -Megan’s father is Judge Thurston Jones. -Judge Jones was able to get Megan accepted into Willobrook Academy. -Students from Willobrook eventually go to Harvard and Yale. -Lindsay mentions taking a school field trip to the Italian Art Exhibit at the museum down town. -Mr. Belding won a trophy that read “The 1968 State Yodeling Champs - Otto Huntmeyer and Richard “The Echo” Belding.” -Bayside’s yodeling team was the only one in the state, so Otto and Belding always won. -Judge Jones tells Bayside that he’ll be back in three years for Megan’s graduation.
12. “Weasel Love” School Record: -The three girls are in the Bayside Orchestra. Vicki plays the clarinet. Lindsay plays the flute and Megan plays the violin. -Weasel has a computer pen pal named Natalie. -They have been pen pals for three years. -Natalie is moving from Seattle to go to Bayside. -Both Natalie and Weasel are big fans of The Skipper from “Gilligan’s Island.” -Weasel described himself as a curly haired Tom Cruise. -For a brief time, Weasel becomes “The Fox.” An arrogant jerk that no one likes. -Bayside won the trip to New York. -When Weasel and Natalie kiss, we can assume it’s Weasel’s first.
13. “Tommy A” School Record: -It’s the week of Mid-Year Finals. -Scott’s crush-of-the-week is Muffy. She refuses to go out with him since he doesn’t have his license, though. -Megan and Vicki had to ride the Bayside School Bus. -Tommy’s 16th birthday is in three weeks (from the first scene of the episode). -Tommy’s dad has promised to buy him a car for his birthday. -Art Bernstein sits behind Tommy in French class. -We meet Tommy’s dad. Earlier this season we met Lindsay’s mom and Megan’s dad. -With Tommy’s grades, it would be hard for him to get into a decent college. -Physics is a tough course, even for the nerds. -When Tommy was 8 years old, he put together his first model car. -Although it wasn’t known at the time, this is the final episode for Scott, Weasel and Vicki. They never appear, nor are referred to again.

Season 2 makes no sense at all to me. Some episodes are set at Bayside high and others are set at Palisades Hotel in the Summer. So the Summer episodes should take place AFTER the high school episodes. But they don't. They're mixed in with the high school episodes. In the Bayside episodes, Tommy D and Lindsay break up, yet in the Summer episodes, they're still together. In the flashback episode, set in Bayside, they flash back to a couple scenes that happened in the Summer episodes. The whole thing is so confusing. Here's the order, I've put the episodes in when I take out the Summer episodes.
14. The Return of Screech 15. Blood Money 16. Squash It 17. The People's Choice 18. Belding's Prank 19. Tommy the Tenor 20. Bayside Story 21. A Perfect Lindsay 22. Breaking Up 23. To Cheat or Not to Cheat 24. The D Stands for Dropout 25. Belding's Prize 26. Goodbye Bayside - Part 1 27. Goodbye Bayside - Part 2
Due to what I said about "The Class of 2020" I didn't include it in the episode list. I don't know how exactly to include the Summer episodes.

Okay, now after viewing the two ski lodge episodes, I've decided to include them. Since they are part of a school trip and take place during the school year. But they have to be back to back. I've also changed my mind on "The Class of 2020". Even though there are a couple clips from the Summer episodes as of now, I'm including it. Here's my latest list:
14. The Return of Screech 15. Blood Money 16. Squash It 17. The People's Choice 18. Belding's Prank 19. Tommy the Tenor 20. Bayside Story 21. A Perfect Lindsay 22. Breaking Up 23. Drinking 101 24. Feuding Friends 25. To Cheat or Not to Cheat 26. The D Stands for Dropout 27. Belding's Prize 28. The Class of 2020 29. Goodbye Bayside - Part 1 30. Goodbye Bayside - Part 2
This leaves out these episodes:
-All Play and No Work (Palisades Hotel) -Let the Games begin (Palisades Hotel) -Brian's Girlfriend (Palisades Hotel) -Rachel's Choice (Palisades Hotel) -A Matter of Trust (Palisades Hotel) -Christmas in July (Palisades Hotel) -Farewell Dance (Palisades Hotel) -Back at the Ranch (Screech's Uncle's Ranch) -Wanna Bet? (Screech's Uncle's Ranch)
I haven't viewed the ranch episodes yet. If they take place during the Summer then they are included with the same dilema as the Hotel episodes. If they are just weekend episodes, then I'll include them with the Bayside episodes.

I give up trying to orderize this season. However, here's the order I settled on.
14. The Return of Screech 15. Bloody Money 16. All Play and No Work (Palisades Country Club) 17. Squash It 18. Let the Games Begin (Palisades Country Club) 19. A Perfect Lindsay 20. Brian's Girlfriend (Palisades Country Club) 21. The People's Choice 22. Rachel's Choice (Palisades Country Club) 23. Belding's Prank 24. A Matter of Trust (Palisades Country Club) 25. Tommy the Tenor 26. Christmas in July (Palisades Country Club) 27. Bayside Story 28. Farewell Dance (Palisades Country Club) 29. Back at the Ranch (Uncle Lester's Ranch) 30. Wanna Bet? (Uncle Lester's Ranch) 31. Breaking Up 32. Drinking 101 (Ski Lodge) 33. Feuding Friends (Ski Lodge) 34. To Cheat or Not to Cheat 35. The D Stands for Dropout 36. Belding's Prize 37. The Class of 2020 38. Goodbye Bayside - Part 1 39. Goodbye Bayside - Part 2
Because the order is so confusing, I'm less anal about the first season order. So I'm just gonna go back to it being production order. Which makes it:
1. The Date Lottery 2. Love Is On the Air 3. Running the Max 4. Geogre Washington Kissed Here 5. The Slumber Party 6. A Kicking Weasel 7. Home Shopping 8. Belding's Baby 9. Swap Meet 10. Homecoming King 11. Good-Bye Megan 12. Weasel Love 13. Tommy A
I'm currently trying to orderize the third season.

Saved by the Bell Mistakes
Saved By The Bell Season 1
Dancing to the Max --Kasey Casem is given a quiet, but audible, cue by Zack when he forgets the name of the winning dance. "Let's all do the, uh, the-" (whispered really quick) the sprain" "Yeah, uh, THE SPRAIN!" --Zack said that he couldn't dance, but on the episode titled "Save The Last Dance for Me" on Good Morning Miss Bliss. Shana said that he was a good dancer
The Lisa Card --Zack calls Lisa's father Dr. Turtlelay.
Fatal Distraction --The microphone planted in Kelly's room is not connected to any form of electrical plug, meaning it should be as dead.
The Substitute --The scene in The Max when the substitute teacher walks in and sits down at a table, the girls rush over to him and he invites them to sit at his table, as Jessie throws an extra off a seat and sits on it, you can hear a glass smash and Kelly looks over to the table where Zack, Slater and Screech are sitting and tries not to laugh.
Cream for a Day --When Zack gave Craterface $10, he ripped the 10 dollar bill in half, you can see that it is a fake ten dollar bill (i.e. one that is in Monopoloy or Life)
Beauty and the Screech --What appears to be Gladivich Kruskivanov, the Russian Soviet fighter pilot turned general, is seen in the video of "Kelly and Screech!?" asking that question to what appears to be Winston Churchill. Unfortunately, both were dead by the time this episode hit the air.
The Friendship Business --The Buddy Bands are supposed to sell for $3.95, but when everyone is paying and when getting their money back, they are only giving/given one bill.
The Mamas and the Papas --Sure, Jessica Spano and AC Slater getting paired together alphabetically makes sense, and it is possible that no male in the class has a J or L name, and Kelly Kapowski and Zach Morris are paired, but Lisa Turtle and Screech Powers? How did that work out?
The Election --In the scene where Zack shows his "Zack Morris: Why the Heck Not?" propaganda video, he is seen in front of a blackboard with math equations on it. When we see the tape, Zack is sitting down. Then, when the tape is finished, Zack moves away from the board, away from the EXACT POINT he was standing at in the video, in front of the EXACT SAME math equations. How you can put a live transmission from a classroom blackboard onto a pre-recorded video tape with no camera in the room (which is pretty obvious when the camera pans out) is beyond me.
Save That Tiger --In the scene where they are having the medal presentation for best prank, Zack gets the pie in the face and through the water sprayed in his face, you can clearly see he is laughing uncontrollably.
Season 2
Save the Max --In this episode, Zack caught his finger on the record-player's needle in the background while Slater is prompting people to donate to Save The Max. Zack mutters an audible "Ow, $#!+" which causes Slater to stop momentarily. This only made it past NBC censors because Peter Engel convinced them it was a scratch in the record player, is the story as to why such a noticeable expletive was left in the show. --Near the end when Zack introduces Screech as Al Bundy, you can see the mic above their heads. --When Slater gives Zack the money that he wants to donate, you can clearly see that he has no money in his hands when gives it to Zack.
Driver's Education --The scene where Zack walks into a crowded classroom with Screech who is wearing a red helmet, you can see Slater in the foreground sit at his desk not really in the scene talking to somebody when all of a sudden, he looks directly at the camera and grins. --In the scene where Slater's showing his new car, a boom mic can be seen, after Slater says "I turn 16 next week". (If you watch close enough.)
Miss Bayside --In this episode Kelly plays a bad singer. Slater said "she sings like a bird" and then she sang off key and he said "I didn't say what kind of bird". If she is such a bad singer then how come in the episode called 'Jessie's Song' she was such a good singer in the band Hot Chocolate?
Jessie's Song --When Zack says the name of the girl's music group, he has a voice bomb. His voice screechs when he says, "You guys are." He clears his throat right after he does it. When Zack comes into Jessie's room when she and Slater are studying, he tells them about the record. Slater says "Oh, yeah, very wrong (whispering: next time take me along)", as he gets up and closes the textbook he had. Later when Zack leaves, Slater picks up the now opened book and closes it again. you're wrong, Slater closes the book, but he throws it down, and it falls open again immediately... it's not a goof.
1-900-CRUSHED --Alot of people including Zack and Screech picked up the phone before it rang. --After Slater, Ox, and some other guy come into Art class to model, a boom mic can be seen from the top while everybody is clapping. --In the scene where Jesse's calling Zacks 1-900 number, a boom mic can be seen before Lisa says "It's Jesse, she has ..."
Running Zack --At the beginning when the gang enters the Max, they head towards their usual table. As they sit down and Screech talks about how Zack stole Cindy Zephereli's (sp) bathing suit, they don't have any menus and the waitress is headed their way with some. The camera shifts focus to Zack and Kelly for a half-second and you can see the menus hit the table. Right as they hit the table the camera goes back to the whole table, Slater already has a menu in his hand, and the waitress has teleported to the table behind them.
The Babysitters --Why was Kelly back in school the same day she broke her arm? Shouldn't she be home resting?
Glee Club --When Screech is putting in the tape of "Oh when the Saints go marching in" he hits the machine and says mouths something funny. If you watch close enough, you will see it too. I--n this episode the lockers are blue. In the previous episode they are red and the episode after Glee Club they are red.
Season 3
Zack's Birthday --When a girl asks Zack to tell her a little about himself, he says he lived in L.A. all his life. 'Saved by the Bell' is a spinoff of 'Good Morning Miss Bliss', about Zack's days in junior high, which was set in Indiana.
Operation Zack --Just before Zack falls asleep, he turns on his light by pulling a string on his right side. When he wakes up, he turns on the light, although this time it is on his left side.

Also what about the episode of Hang Time practically devoted to Saved By the Bell? It was one of the later episodes and it had Dustin Diamond guest starring as himself (though everyone kept calling him "Screech") Some of the Hang Time gang were working at a movie theater and the big movie playing was Saved By the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas!
Dustin Diamond was there was one of the stars of the movie and so everyone on the show also knew him as Screech from Saved By the Bell. It was very funny and I'm waiting for it to rerun on ABC Family.

Why was College Years not as Successful as Bell Classic
You know at the very beginning, I also didn't think "Leslie" and "Alex" fit the cast very well. But after watching TCY episodes at least a 50 times, I can honestly admit that I think they were a great addition to the cast.
Of course, when I first watched it, I wanted "Lisa" and "Jessie" to be there. It just wasn't the same without them.
But TCY grew on me a few years back. Maybe because I matured a little more and I was able to relate to the comedy they presented to be in the prime time slot.
I totally think "Alex" is hilarious now. I always laugh at her. She really played her character well. I don't know why, but I kinda see her as a female "Screech" in a way. I think her and "Screech" would have made a great couple, since we saw "Screech" mature a little bit in the CY and his clothes weren't that goofy anymore.
"Leslie" was a great addition to the show because she kinda helped "Zack" realize that the world isn't all about "skirt chasing" and she sort of taught him how he should try to pick up a lady in way that could work better for him as an adult. I think she was a very smart, sophisticated, and unique character that was added to the cast. She added a different perpective and was very honest about her feelings.
