Does anyone notice the awkwardness between Elaine and Kramer in the early seasons? it seems to me that Elaine would work better with Kramer with Jer and George around. a perfect example of this is The Boyfriend Pt 2 when they are the only ones in the apt and they don't say anything to each other. Then in season 7 Elaine was portrayed as the businesslike woman ( she was funnier in season 1-6) and Kramer was coming to her to discuss his relationship with Emily something which wouldn't have happened in seasons 1-3. The same could be said about George and Kramer he'd be able to act himself around Jer more which was obvious as they were best buddies.

All the characters were akward around each other in the biggining if Jerry wasn't there. They made a whole episode about George and Elaine not knowing what to say to each other (The Dog). Just for fun though, I heard this rumor a while back (I know it's NOT true, it's just something that was going around on a Seinfeld site) that Micheal Richards and Julia Louis-Dreyfus had an afair. Isn't that funny??

I think George acts as himself around Kramer and the result is usually great; in the Dinner Party. The Wink. The Susie.

Yeah, the Kramer and George pairing usually results in big laughs. The compliment each other so well, with Kramer being so off the wall that George gets miffed by him.

At the biggining they were akward around each other though. At least, in the first episode they were.

And what was more ironic was that Kramer was the only one to get Elaine a decent birthday present which she wanted. Jerry and George gave her cash, but Kramer paid attention to what Elaine had said and got her the park bench.

When he thought Jerry was a Nazi, he grabbed Elaine and shouted "I won't let them hurt you!!" and she was hitting him and yelling "GET OFF OF ME!". That was a really funny scene.

I liked it when Kramer was pretending to be her boyfriend and wanted to know how many times they did it.

How about when Elaine and Kramer agreed that if they weren't married in 50 years, they'd get hitched!

I think at the beginning of the show everyone is friends with jerry, and friends with each other through jerry, but by the end theyre all friends with each other as well.

Like this early episode when Kramer suddenly slides in, and makes Elaine jump

I love Shelia's (Schmoopy) jumpy reaction to Kramer's entrance into Jerry's apartment right after George leaves.
Whomever wrote that into the script for her to do is a genious!
