A true comedy classic that lost it's funny moments later on 8/10 This is probably my favorite sitcom of all time together with Seinfeld. It's strange though cause it's the only show that i both love and hate. Because i would say that the last 3-4 seasons almost felt like another sitcom. If we go back to the first seasons when Steve still was around the show was much more funny. And i can't put a finger on why, cause it's not because of Steve even though i liked that character. Ed O'Neill was hilarious, and most episodes only included the family and Steve and Marcy. Later in the series it felt like every episode had the same plot (No'Mam plot). Ridiculous, and with too many bad supporting actors, and even Ed O'Neill lost it with terrible overacting. I wish i could give it a 10 out 10. If you haven't seen it, go out and buy the first 4 seasons, those were true Sitcomclassics!!

Let's Rock 10/10 I confess, this is one of the best TV shows I have ever seen in my entire life. Scratch that, the best TV show I have ever seen PERIOD. Here's why I love Married with Children...
First, there is the timed jokes. I could not stop laughing whether something very funny happens. Second, there are the likable characters. Out of all the characters in the show, the Bundys(Especially Al and Buck), Marcy Rhoades-Darcy, Steven Rhoades, and Jefferson Darcy are my absolute favorite. Who else doesn't love these guys? Whenever I hear the theme song, "Love and Marriage", I could not help but sing along.
Bottom line: Married with Children is filled with likable characters, perfectly-timed jokes, good writing, and a great theme song. The Bundys are a bundle of fun!

Humour that has you so laughing so hard, it could be dangerous 10/10 Married With Children is so cruel, and distasteful, disrespectful, cheap, lewd. I know I'm missing so many other things. But it's all so BLOODY BLOODY BLOODY BLOODY funny. The way the Bundy's play of each other, is so wrong but so funny. Bud's my favorite. Ed O Neil, a really good actor, was born to play Al, it's almost his exclusive right. Married with Children is smart with it's quick witted dialogue, almost every line in this hit show is funny. It was great how they brought the family dog's V.O into the show. That was imaginative, a really smart move. Kelly the daughter, Applegate, who's proved to be such an impressive actress, though playing mainly characters I don't like, gives as good as she gets from her virginal brother, the Budster, the butt of humiliation and pranks. We too have the neighbors, Phil and his annoying wife, Marcy, the wonderful Bearse (Fraternity Vacation, Fright Night) to add more humour, which already is in plenty supply. This 90's comedy still today remains an olden' gem. Though it's not everyone's cup of tea, it's definitely mine with three sugars, and a cherry on top.

legend reflecting ordinary problems of a family, using large sort of humor, creating memorable characters, it is a legend. out of definitions, it remains more than source of nice memories but a form of pop art. because it reflects reality in a special unique form. because the song of Frank Sinatra has new nuances and for Ed O'Neill is one of biggest performances. almost vulgar, too honest, ironic, absurd, strange, it becomes, episode by episode, a picture. its secret is precise connection with reality. the genius of director to give slices of small facts from every day in a kind of society portrait. a family like reflection of its viewers. and nice art to be the jester of modern time.it is a legend. not for the ten years in which it was made, not for memorable jokes. only for the inspired manner to present reality as a big large source of humor.

Funny but not too realistic I found this series funny with all the one-liners that the characters would fling at each other, mainly Al vs. Marcy, Al vs. Peggy, and the like, but I found a few things unrealistic, but then again, maybe that was the whole point.First off,and I'm sure I'm not the only one that noticed this, but with how sexy-looking Peggy Bundy was,why didn't Al find her even the least bit sexy and attractive? How did they have two children if Al was so petrified with, over,or towards having sex with Peggy? Second,if Al's job paid him a mere pittance and Peggy didn't work, how did they afford such a nice, big house in a middle-class suburban neighborhood? I make more than Al supposedly made in his shoe salesman job and yet if it weren't for my parents still supporting me,I'd be out in the street, with a park-bench for a bed.Granted that this was over 20 years ago,but come on,houses in suburban neighborhoods weren't that cheap back then, but again, maybe that was the whole point, that this was all just tongue-in-cheek,that this wasn't to be taken seriously, and that: of course Al wasn't as petrified of sex with Peggy if he and her could birth two kids and of course Al couldn't afford such a nice house in the suburbs on 2 bucks an hour, but I found those things totally unrealistic, but otherwise,I really enjoyed this series even in reruns all these years later.

Iconic ground breaking hit 10/10 A dysfunctional family headed by a loud mouth idiot is nothing new. In fact, it's a dime a dozen nowadays. But for its times, it pushed all the envelopes.
Ed O'Neill delivers a big time performance as the loser husband shoe salesman. Katey Sagal creates a chocolate bonbon filled wife. Christina Applegate is the dim-witted blonde daughter. David Faustino is the creepy little brother.
The writing is rock-solid. The show kept pushing the censors. The fact that many people opposed it just made it so much better. But it's the actors who created such outlandish characters that deserves the most praise. It lasted a shocking 11 years. The last few were of lower quality stuff, but it still deserves all the love.

Makes it a winner. 10/10 Al Bundy is not only married but has a child. Not just one but two. Seller of ladies shoes and yet with four touchdowns in one game. That his family remains the most interesting with the black humor. Dog, neighbors and friends and all the stars involved in the series make it perfect combination.
"Married ... with Children" - This series is an old man. There are many new, but the whole world is still watching. This would have said Al Bundy - Makes it a winner.
There's no two words to describe the series of all time. There will never be such a series.

This is "THE" groundbreaking show. 10/10 Forget the nonsense and hype you have heard about the show "Roseanne" being the groundbreaking show. Married with Children is more highly rated,. it came out first (and is therefore the groundbreaking show),. and it has won many more awards than "Roseanne". Also Married With Children started off an insane poor family and stayed that way. They had a few momentary times when things would go well for them. But they didn't become the rich and famous like the characters did in the Roseanne show. Much more of the seasons of Married With Children were a hit than most sitcoms. And they did have a slowdown of their success,. like in Bud's college years. But overall,. and more often than not,. the show was a long winning streak. From Al Bundy seeing aliens, to a dead mall Santa, to the whole Bundy family in Hell,. it is one insanely funny thrill ride.

Original Dysfunctional Family! 10/10 This show as the most dysfunctional that you could get. As before he was in Modern Family, Ed O Neil starred as a father who really hated his job and before she was in Sons of Anarchy, Katey Segal was lazy wife Peg.
They had two children that are from you know where. Bud who is like his father. Play by David Faustino. But also is something of a man that really wants to make out with women. And Kelly the man hungry dog, played by Christina Applegate.
The show was one of the original shows on Fox. And helped put them on the map way before the Simpsons. It was indeed trash. And very dysfunctional. But still, one show that is very dysfunctional

The first family of sitcoms 7/10 OK we have had a lot of family's over the sitcom years but by far this was this was the funniest TV family back in the nintys they made way for family's like the goldbergs the dumphys "in witch the dad from this show plays the grandpa" I loved this show even though I was too young to get much of it my father and I would' laugh the entire time when watching this show it really made family TV what it' is today but fair warning they were also by far the dirtiest family u will probably ever see so might not be good for small kids but other than that u want a classic family that you and your kids can both relate too then the bundys are the bunch you are looking for trust me

Best Sitcom Ever Made 10/10 Sitcom are made with females in mind. But Married with Children(MWC) was on of the rare sitcom guys love because of the relateablity of the characters, the adult toilet humor, and the great cast acting. There was someone for everyone to latch on to, Al was the loser husband, peg was his wife who has no job and does nothing and only wants sex from Al, bud was a dateless virgin loser who had a rubber woman and Kelly was the Sexy airhead sister who sleeps with anything. His neighbors hated Al and his family and Al did not care. He's a man's man.
THat's why guys love it. While other shows (Seinfeld) jokes were helped GREATLY by the processed laugh track and has held up terribly over time, Friends not very well written minimal jokes that was laugh track crazy, MWC is STILL funny and refreshing and well written. It's one of the few sitcoms that were made for guys in a market dominated by the female audience.
It made fun of every subject, from sex to penis size, to sluttiness to virginity....nothing was safe. Ethnic neighborhoods, gays, straights; nothing was off limits. A show that because of its edginess was and always will be funny.
It's a guys comedy 10 out of 10.....MWC is a funny, well written and considered the best sitcom ever by men.

Best TV Series I know I saw all the episodes, some even twice or three times. I laughed not only loudly but so often like in no other sitcom. The good is, you forget many jokes, so you can see an episode again and laugh again after some time. In addition it is so funny to watch many episodes after another, you get as funny as Al Bundy and invent your own jokes. There are so many classic scenes in this sitcom: little boy standing near his fat mom and complaining: "Mom, I want to have a balloon", Ed: "You got one already" . There are 11 seasons out there and I really would like to have more. Congrats to Ed 'o Neill, he is the best in this series. The sad thing is, that this series contains so many truths about life and how family life can end, if you don't take care.

A winner of a comedy, and one of the biggest laugh quotas in 30 minutes This is one of the funniest comedies I've ever seen in my life. Ed O'Neill was born to play Al Bundy, and the same goes for the other principal cast in the roles, even the dog. The dialogue is so acute and punchy, but too the show scores laughs with some normal dialogue as in reaction dialogue. In thirty minutes the laugh quota is so high. Is Married With Children heartless- yes, which sets it apart from the other comedies. The Budster really makes me laugh. He and his sister's dialogue of ridicule at one another is so inventive, you have no idea what's gonna spout out, but you're guaranteed it's gonna be funny. Christina Applegate as the dumbbell sister, really convinces us, she's got the brain of a coconut. She's an actress you truly underrate, who later branched into films, really showing what she could do. The change of casting with one of the neighbors was interesting, where I really did prefer Happy Day's Tim McGinley in the role. Although there's people out there, that are truly against the show, cause of it's messages or ill morals, you just have to see it for what it's worth, as one of the funniest comedies you'll ever see, but it's a family you wouldn't want to be part of for sure.
