Great series, some rude humor about women, sex etc. Married...with Children is just great. There is some rude humor about women (Peggy and Marcy) and sex (Bud and Kelly). The Bundy's act like an asocial family, they are rude, violent. Sometimes they steal. This kind of humor is what I like. But whatever happens, the Bundy's are happy with each other (Peggy and Al still have sex, though Al doesn't want to).
If you never saw Married...with Children then you've certainly missed something!

Sitcom at it's best! Married... with Children is my all-time favorite. The certain lack of political correctness is what makes the humor unique and irreplaceable.

You're in NO'MAMs land now!!!!!!!! I think Married with Children is the best comedy . It's an ordinary family, they are all ugly, Bud, AL the Red Monster (Peggy) Accept Kelly! Kelly is great. In Married with Children she is the stupid one. She have a lot boyfriends, but what do you expect with that body. Jefferson is also great!!!!!!

The best.....YES!!! I'm so sick of smarmy sitcoms. If you are, watch this! It's so funny! Sure, there are some sex jokes, but to me, it's not too gratuitious (South Park comes to mind). It's mostly spoof and sometimes mean-spirited humour. But, it's still cool for many years!

BEST Comedy in TV history Married...with Children is on the TOP of my favorite list. I've got every episode ever shown on TV, except for the one that was never aired. The episode was considered too raunchy for TV for that era. (If the critics back then knew what was on today). I believe the episode was about Al & Peg and maybe Steve and Marcy going to a motel for their second honeymoon, not knowing that the motel operator had a video camera hidden in the honeymoon suite. Also have every issue of Married...with Children comics that was published . Guess I'm hooked.

Marriage is hell after all "Married with children was certainly made to tell people not to get married. It concentrates on the bad things of marriage but never on the good ones. Anyway, it's very funny. This is the kind of family that people like to watch on TV. People don't like to watch non-funny and boring families like the Cosbies.
My favorite episode is the one that they go to England. There is not an episode funnier than that one. "Married with children" has a good cast and they all act very well. One could say that the Bundies are like the Simpsons. Though thank God they don't have characters like Marge and Lisa.
What I dislike about it is that they film ninety-nine percent of the show in their house. They should have filmed it in more different places like the episode in England. People will certainly miss it and I hope they at least keep showing reruns for a long time.

THE GREATEST TELEVISION SHOW EVER. This is simply perfect. I have around two hundred episodes on tape. 4 Married With Children comic books. Every Phone patrol commercial with Ed O'Niell. Every movie on video with Ed O'Niell including Delverence. However I do not have a NO'MAAM shirt which I'm looking for. My favorite episode (which just coincidentally happens to be Ed O'Niell's favorite) is the first one Bubba Smith appeared on. Entitled "ALL NIGHT SECURITY DUDE" In which Al must face his old nemesis Spare Tire Dixon in order to regain possession of his sacred championship trophy. Great writing, great acting, lots of raunchy jokes, and hooters aplenty. Let's Rock!

One of FOX's finest With a total of 262 episodes, Married With Children showed it was one of television's finest shows. It started and ended with classic humor. Married With Children revolutionized the TV comedy by placing in jokes about sex and so on. A true classic that will never be forgotten.

Definitely NOT Cosby... This marvelous show lasted eleven years. I wish it were still on. If you were fed up with preachy, annoying treacle like the Cosby show (or any of dozens of others), this was the antidote. There aren't enough like it.
On the typical moralizing television "sitcom" the situation is always (underlying) serious but never hopeless. The Bundy family's situation was the opposite...

Changed My Life I'm 16 years old, and I remember being a kid and having family gatherings around the TV every Sunday at 8:00 to watch Married With Children. And no matter who was sitting at the TV when it came on, one would always hear the same cry- "BUNDY'S ON!". This went on for years, and when they finally stopped making new episodes, it was like a whole new world. Thank God for reruns. Yes, I can honestly say that Married With Children changed my life.

The Greatest Television Show Ever!! This is the best show that I have ever seen. I think I have seen every episode a million times, and I never get sick of them. Al Bundy is the greatest character ever created. Unfortunately the show was cancelled a few years back, but it had a great run!

effectively different Probably more different than any family show, this one focused on a family with no food, a mother and father who loathed each other, two smart ass kids, and no love in sight at all. All the characters were constantly slamming each other with some sort of sexual joke or putdown. After the first couple years they started using Al (O'Neill) as a helpless victim of electrocution, gunshot, or dropped off the roof sightgags. Their strongest showing was the first 4 years, with truly hilarious episodes full of raunchiness and many tasteless moments. But after year 5 started the writing started to head downhill and some of the creative team was changed. It didnt help much as the final five years had hit and miss moments. The silliness just had reached such an unbelievable peak, that the show wasnt grounded in any reality. Not that when the series began it was depicting a true family, but at least it wasnt too overboard in its humor. My favorite episode over they years is the one thats available on video entitled "Its a Bunderful Life," where Al finds out what the family would be like without him. Sam Kinison is great as his angel who shows him how the kids and Peggy would be, in some very funny character alterations. Id never call this show one of my top five faves, but it did make the depressing lives of the characters good for a lot of laughs. O'Neill was perfect as the lousy luck father, Sagal as the couch glued housewife, Faustino as the hopeless hornball son, and Applegate as the sexy bimbo daughter. Occasionally appearing (and directing) was Bearse as up tight neighbor Marcy, with her husbands being conservative Steve, who ultimately ran off on her to be a park ranger, and then McGinley as Jefferson, the overly confident, unemployed househusband. Some very memorable characters who enjoyed a surprising 10 year run.

MWC Magnificent Married With Children has got to be the greatest show ever. I rate it right up ther with Seinfeld and The Simpsons. Al is the king of sitcoms, Kelly is simply divine, Jefferson and Bud were perennial losers, but kept me in stitches with their antics. Peg was annoying and lazy but also quite funny. Marcy was excellent. Her verbal jousts with Al and also Jefferson were legendary!!
Married With Children - 10 out of 10 !!
