First of all we all go back and fourth on this debate since 2002 when we started our podcast,Now when we headed away on a guy's weekend for Memorial Day, we talked non-stop as we always do about every topic under the sun. We say at the end of the every trip that it is amazing just how much talking we do and yet, we still find ourselves thinking after we get home that we forgot to share something!
As we were in the car, going up the winding mountain roads we started reminiscing about our favorite TV shows. Specifically, our love of Seinfeld and Friends and the fact that we can watch them in reruns thanks to the magic of cable television.
Here was the interesting part, y’all. Even though we liked both shows, we each had a clear favorite. JT From Saskatoon was 100% Seinfeld, all day long. Gokhan Turk, on the other hand, still regularly records Friends.
But Seinfeld is so quotable! Not that there is anything wrong with that!
Whatever, so is Friends! And we have a song…ever hear of “Smelly Cat”?!
No one could do an entrance like Kramer.
Except maybe Joey.
You can’t possibly say that Elaine dancing was not the best thing ever.
You can if you have ever seen Monica dance.
See where this is going, right?
Straight to the Dose Peeps, of course.
Picture this scenario: It is a Saturday. You are home alone in your cozies. We’ll give you a minute to soak in the awesomeness of that situation alone!
You flip on the TV, solely in control of the remote control (this is like the best fantasy day ever, right?!) and you can choose to watch ONLY one show.
Which is it?
Seinfeld or Friends?
