Does it get better? The episodes I've seen have been alright.

I'm watching the Kelly and Screech episode. So bizarre.

Back to the 90's, when I saw this on tv.

So far, my favorite character is Zack, by far.
BTW, are the two TV movies necessary? Are they available on Netflix, along with The College Years?

If you want to know the complete story then yes the two movies and College Years are important. Well the first movie you can probably skip. Now as for Saved By the Bell: The New Class...you can skip that.

Cool, thanks! I remember seeing the two movies at my local FYE, so I'll check that out. I don't remember seeing The College Years there or on Netflix, so I might have to settle for Amazon's hefty $60 tag. Is there anywhere I could get College Years cheaper?
Also, do they really go through so many years of college in only 19 episodes?

Yes, it does. When Screech grows up a bit and doesn't look 12.

To me the dude looks like the guy who acts geeky for the camera, but outside is a huge ass. The book Behind the Bell seems to cement that for me.

Looking into it, I see that Dustin Diamond turned into an asshole.

As for Screech, I saw him as a well-meaning but clueless loser, while now he just looks like an asshole.
