As a fan I always wonder what the cast members are like today and how do they see thier roles on SBTB? I had once heard that Mark-Paul doesn't like to be reminded of him as Zack and SBTB and almost sounds as if he regrets it . Zack was my favorite character and its hard to envision Mark-Paul sounding like that. What about the others? Does Mario like his Slater character? Would he portray Slater again someday? I think Dustin would be Screech again. since his career really hasn't flourished much. Does he even like his Screech character? And the girls? Can you see Tiffini portraying Kelly again and so on? Do the girls like to be reminded of SBTB or are they all in the same state as Mark-Paul?

Actually, Mark-Paul has said that he is sort of proud now that he was on the show. I don't think anyone is embarassed about it, or regrets it... however, I doubt that anyone except for maybe Dustin and Dennis would come back if there was ever a reunion movie.

If it was`nt for SBTB they would`nt be where they are today so I think that is why they appreciate it but to have someone constantly remind you of your past might get annoying. But they need to accept that people will always love that show and move on themselves.

I was watching a doc on SBTB on channel E! and I heard Dustin say he didnt really like being the youngest on the show, and also I heard that Lark wished she didnt PLAY Lisa on the show cos they labelled her as a dumb shallow girl.

I have never thought of Lisa as Shallow and dumb. I always thought she was smart but her priorities lied elsewhere like in boys in shopping cause she always had those snappy comebacks. She never acted dumb. It`s really easy to see how people would think that of her though. I always felt kinda bad for her cause she could never find a stable relationship.

Elizabeth always said she enjoyed her SBTB years. She enjoys when people still stop her on the street because she was on the show. She added she is now a little imbarassed by her clothers and hair on the show.

I always thinkit is so sad when actors from a loved series regret their involvement with the show. I mean the fans come to care for these people and often ae touched by the characters on a vey personal level. I think if i were ever invloved in something like that I would treasure and feel really blessed to have been able to reach people in that way. Still, that is just me. and eally they shouldn't be embarrassed about the clothes. Everyone dressed like an idiot then.

i totally agree with you. thats the way i would feel about it too. it would be so cool to have been a part in something that big. there nothing really wrong with their clothes the styles were just different in those days. im sure like 10 years from now kids will think we dressed weird. those things were just what was in style at the time.

From what I have read no one from the cast regrets being on the show. I think any hang ups that they have is from being constantly identified as their character.

I can understand that,It does make it hard for them to escape that character and be cast in other types of roles. Though they can be proud to be identified with such well loved characters. SBTB really was a great show and I have always honestly felt that it had a good message for young people.

I saw on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on CBS, Mario Lopez feels good that people still remember him as A.C. Slater on SBTB. He did not regret it.
I saw also on the Late Show with David Letterman on CBS, Tiffani talked little bit about SBTB and she did not mind talking about it.
