Why did Slater become such a pansy when he went to college? He was such a macho jock when he was in high school, but when he went to college he was such a softie? Why so? Maybe his testosterone levels were down cuz Jessie was gone.

I think he's becoming mature very fast ( well he love's waterfights he even has waterbaloons hidden but thats besides ther point ) he's gonna think about life.

discovering his chicano roots played a big role probably. I also feel that seeing the maturity of Mike lead to his own.

I think that Slater was only a badass in the first 3 seasons of SBTB, he's mellows out alot way before college years even though there is an apparent change in his character when he gets to college. Although at the rave and at the Frat party the old slater reappears briefly.

yeh, i guess. He did participate in the ballet in "The Graduation." Yeh, he totally is his old 10th grade self when he confronts Screech at the rave.

Could it be that in SBTB TCY he was the low man on the totem pole and in the older TOS shows he was top dawg

I actually really like Slater in TCY, his character had so much more depth than it did in high school. It was nice to see him as a voice of reason for Zack here and there.
