I really enjoy when Jerry abandones his straight-man personality and acts goofy. I think these type of scenes were very funny, and far too infrequent. I speak of instances such as him delivering mail in The Andrea Doria. Or the line from the Van Buren Boys. "I had a dream that a hamburger was eating me!" Everyone in the world acts goofy like this at times, why is it that they didn't go to this source of laughter in the show a little more often? I can see that it would be easy to do too much, but I still found all those instances entertaining, showing another side of Jerry that we rarely see, although we know has to exist.
I think the best instance of this is in the Susie, at the funeral. Jerry has a couple of hilarious really random wierd lines that fit a really wierd situation. It's almost as if he (the character) said to himself "this whole funeral is so ridiculous and makes no sense, I might as well act ridiculous and make no sense" and the product is great. His expression as the credits role is priceless.

Yeah, that's one of my favourite Jerry moments as well. "Yeah, but he didn't sleep with both of 'em!" "Not only that, I'm the one that broke his thumbs!"
