Does anyone know if there are Seinfeld episodes that were written/produced but never aired? I'm not talking about deleted scenes, I mean full episodes. Wouldn't it be cool to watch Seinfeld: The Lost Seasons? I'm sure it's every fan's wish.

What's it about? Why didn't it air?

It was called "The Bet" and Elaine bought a gun in the episode. There's a feature about it on the DVDs. I don't remember much, they made it to rehearsals before the project was axed.
One scene had Elaine pointing the gun at Jerry going "Okay where do you want it, do you want the Kennedy? the Lincoln?"
Big surprise, the writer of the episode was Larry Charles.

That's right. I knew The Gun didn't sound right. Julia was actualy the one who had the biggest problem with it. Or at least, that's the way the interview went. The whole story is in notes about nothing and featured as an Easter Egg. You probably have to click a pepper or something. Google it.

To keep character consistency, there's no way Elaine would own a gun. Doesn't tally with her liberal attitude in other episodes (pro choice, anti-fur etc.)
