One of my favourite episodes & (as I think most will agree with me) the most surreal episode in the entire history of the series. It's not just the title plot: Jerry's "man hands" girlfriend looks like something from a Michel Gondry video, & George's plot with the club turning back into a meat market (although something similar has happened to me personally)- especially the penultimate scene where he steps on the picture in the sawdust- is (in my opinion at least) the eeriest moment on the show ever.

It's actually a play on a certain area of the city where, in the 80's, all of these abandonded meat markets were renovated into clubs.

But how can the club change back into a meat market so fast? It's not realistic. I suppose it's somewhat symbolic, since it implies that the modelling world in itself is a kind of "meat market".

I've said this before, but I believe that with a little tweaking, The Bizzaro Jerry would have been the perfect final episode. Elaine moves on with her new friends, George finds the forbidden city, Kramer finds a job, and Jerry is left to finally see how pointless his life really is. Perhaps George gets kicked out the club and he and Jerry are left together, much the same as we found them in the pilot, going back and forth with each other over girl and life issues.

An episode like that certainly would have been better than the shit they passed for a finale.

I didn't find the forbidden city thing eerie, seemed to me like typical George getting screwed over again.
