In "The Van Buren Boys" episode, Kramer is relaying a story to Jerry:
KRAMER: Alright, so there I am at Lorenzo's - loading up my slice of the fixin's bar.. garlic, (imitates the shaking of garlic onto a pizza) and what-not.. mmm, mmm.. and I see this guy over at the pizza boxes giving me the stink-eye. (Imitates the 'stink-eye') So I give him the crook-eye back, (Imitates the 'crook-eye') you know.. Then, I notice that he's not alone! I'm taking on the entire Van Buren Boys!
This is the unchanged version... (I got this off the 'net and I've personally seen this version of the conversation several times.) But nowadays when I see this episode on TV, they OMIT "So I give him the crook-eye...."
Why is this, anyone know? It was really funny and I'm mad that they took it off.

Probably cut from the syndicated version -- makes more time available for the wonderful commercials.

yes the black hole of syndication.
I've been noticing more is getting cut then last year.
FOX and TBS are cutting a little more now a days so that they can milk commercials before dvds release.

In the Merv Griffin Show many of a great parts with Kramer doing the show are cut out. more than usual. for instance his bit "Only in New York" which is hilarious. is now cut in more Fox airings.

How many times do they cut to commercials during Seinfeld over there? Over here they stop for maybe five (or more) minutes of commercials, so they don't have to cut anything out.

usually it's three or four max---one right after first scene, one after part a, one after part b, one after part c? and then we see the final scene

Also in the Van Buren Boys at the end of that scene Jerry asks Kramer "So how was the pizza?" Kramer says (In classic Kramer fashion) - "A little oily" That line has also been cut in syndication.

Also "The Yada Yada" is completely butchered. So many great lines cut out.

the race is really butchered. I think theyre all butchered to the same extent, its just some edits in some eps are more noticeable than others.

another episode that's chopped up is the betrayal. i read the script, and there are a lot of parts in there that i've never seen, because they always edit them out. like "what time is it?" "you just asked me that two minutes ago" "TWO MINUTES AGO..." which doesn't really have anything to do with the story, but it's still funny and i would have liked to see it.

One line that is cut in synd. is from The Engagement....when kramer usually says "May I go to the bathroom please!?"....the line is completely cut. I loved that line!

In case some people don't know, they cut things out of episodes when they are syndicated so they can add more commercials (those bastards!)
Because it's been so long since I've seen the originals, I can't really think of many. There is only one I can think of right now. It occurs in "The Muffin Tops" episode. If I'm not mistaken, Newman pulls up in a fancy sports car (an Acura NSX if I'm not mistaken) before he takes care of the problem.
I know there are a few others that I can't think of right now. Which ones do you recall?

it's hard to recall a lot of them because they weren't really anything, the newman thing in muffin tops is probably the most interesting thing they cut

I'd have to disagree there. Syndicated episodes cut a significant amount of footage, some episodes more so than others.
There were a lot that were just as memorable if not more than the Newman in NSX part....
