It ran into the 2000's, but the Drew Carey Show was a sitcom that started in 1995 and was very popular in the late 90's. It chronicled the life of Drew Carey, played by Drew Carey, and his friends, work, and love life. I loved this show. I still do actually. I own Season 1 on DVD, and unfortunately there are no plans to release the rest at this time because of some financial problems with getting the rights to use all of the music in the show. I am disappointed because I thought this show was awesome.
Season 2 is where the show really starts to become the show it is remembered as. Season 1 is hilarious, but it's less than zany than the rest of the show. Season 1 basically is like watching real life, but funnier. Season 2 and on the show becomes a little more outrageous, but it's still really funny.
I can't be the only person who loved this show. Did anyone else watch this show, and if you did what are your opinions on it?

I really liked this show. When it aired was when I was living with my mom, and we'd usually watch that and Whose Line together. It was really funny, not quite the best show ever made, but it was certainly one of my favorites from the 90's.
A couple of summers, WGN or whatever that station is brought the show back on air for a month or two, but then took it off. That sucked, because I finally had something to watch on Sunday afternoons. But come on, who doesn't love the theme song.

This show was filmed in Cleveland, I believe. It was pretty cool. I loved the show.
