Who remembers Discovery Zone or a place like it? I actually lived near two of them. One was Discovery Zone and the other was Funscape. Both I remember quite well and wish they would come back. I used to go to adventure landing and pretend that it was a new Legends of the Hidden Temple or play with others in a chasing game of some sort or the ball pit was lava. At Funscape it was almost the same thing but they had a mini golf course and two simulator rides. My family had a tradition of my grandmother taking me to the Easter egg hunts they had there. So my question to everyone is. Who remembers Discovery Zone or a place like Discovery Zone?

I remember Discovery Zone! I was born in Long Island and my family liked to take me there. One of my memories of Discovery Zone was one time my dad took me and the girl he was cheating on my mom with was there. Of course, me being really young I didn't know anything about how my dad and this girl knew each other or their relationship. All I remember was that this girl put her nametag on upside-down.
There was another local place in Iowa that I liked to go with friends once in awhile, but it took like 45 minutes to get there. We would go down slides, crawl around the tunnels and play in the arcade. I miss those days.

Sorry if I'm bumping the topic, but I just noticed... I went to Discovery Zone TWICE (or three times, I can't remember), and I'll never forget the ball pit with the blue mountain in the center! Man, that place was fun, though there was that one time I went between the two fun zones (or whatever the enclosed ball pit/play areas were called) and got stuck for 5 minutes. Discovery Zone was awesome, and I'll always remember it fondly.
