The Summer of George A-?! I don't think so, sir! I mean the idea of George proclaiming the Summer of George is great, but the rest of the episode is rather poor. From a man who thinks the Hamptons is over-rated, I think this is an odd episode to pick out as a highlight. The Hampton's kicks the Summer of George's ass.

The Andrea Doria- B+ Don't think this deserved the same praise it got from you but its still very good, I love George's storyline, its classic Costanza.
"Oh and by the way my fiance died from toxic envelopes that I picked out, thanks again".
Kramer's plot was funny the first couple of times but after repeated viewing gets a little bit tiresome, though its still effective mainly due to Jer.
The thought of Kramer biting Mewman is a bit bizarre.
One scene I hate is the bird flying into Elaine's head, its very unseinfeldian.

The Little Jerry- A+ Superb stuff altogether, from the very first scene to the last, lots of great lines and George and Celia are a joy. "I love this relationship I feel so liberated"

The Finale - N/a
I heard that The Finale was more than an hour long when it first aired, so grading it based on the syndicated version wouldn't be fair. From what I've seen, it's not as terrible as people make it out to be.

Good point---the Burning is one of the worst episodes ever.

Mickey's "The Burning Story" is by FAR the WORST of ALL of the Mickey stories! Slightly worse than in the Yada Yada. It's incredibly boring and I just don't give a shit about Kramer's whole plot. George's plot is half-baked, and Jerry's story isn't really a story, it's just a bunch if ridiculously random things happening.

I'm surprised you only give The Puerto Rican Day a C. I think it's a very nice return to some classic Seinfeld roots, in the Chinese Restaurant/Parking Garage vein. Not classic, but worth a B in my estimation. And I really think, syndication issues aside, you should give a grade to The Finale. It's kind of on the lame side if you don't icon_biggrin.gif . My feeling is that it might not be as terrible as it's sometimes made out to be, but it's definitely not good by Seinfeld standards - C-. I agree with you on Merv Griffin - now there is an over-rated episode!

I agree with you on Merv Griffin - now there is an over-rated episode! Yeah, I did notice that it's a season 9 version of The Chinese Restaurant. The first five minutes in particular are great, very miniscule classic Seinfeld. But after that, you can count the laughs on one hand imo. Elaine's story is especially lame.
